Rokum TR is a proudly South African company that is 100% black female owned.

We are the trusted supplier of Getac,Durabook and iData Devices in South Africa. We distribute hardware devices designed specially to tolerate the harshest environments. For example, exposure to extreme temperatures, shocks, drops, water, and dust is no longer a reason for device failures in business.

I have been fortunate enough to stumble upon Rokum whilst looking for an alternative to Panasonic's Toughbook and found that they were listed on GETAC's website as the official partner in South Africa. I reached out via email and in less than a day had a response from Merilyn followed up by a phone call. Merilyn gave sound advice on the different product offerings and also insisted on insurance cover on the order which I initially thought might by unnecessary but took it out anyway and what a relief what an unfortunate South-African story came to life whereby the courier company's truck was high-jacked as it left the airport with my order on it. Merilyn immediately re-ordered the laptop and committed to a day when the replacement laptop will be ready. Delivery as per the previous order was a couple of days prior to the deadline and without any issues. The customer service is really outstanding and I hope other suppliers/vendors take note and have such high standards. I'm looking forward to continue building the Rokum relationship.

ROKUM provides exceptional ater-sales-service. Being the sole agent for GETAC in SA – devices are imported in “no-time”, and they have the technical knowledge to help out immediately in the Unlikely event that customer support is required. All the GETAC devices comes with great warranties. The warrantees are needless in my experience, since I can almost guarantee you that it will not be called upon – the device will outlast the warrantee period by far!
